Mini sessions are so much fun to me. I like to keep them at 15 minutes, because really, that’s all I need to get 20+ awesome photos of the two of you. Let’s dive right in with some frequently asked questions:
1. What should I wear?
My go-to answer for this is always whatever you feel most comfortable with, and something that reflects your personalities. If that means casual clothing, do it! If that means dressing up in renaissance attire, then do that! These photos are about you, so don’t be afraid to let your personality shine!
2. Can I bring a sword?
This also depends on the location, you can usually find out by calling the location, or having your photographer (me) do it for you (and yes, Highline SeaTac Botanical Gardens does allow swords, I asked).
3. Can I bring my dog?
This depends on one thing- Does the location allow it? Places like Highline Seatac Botanical Garden do allow pets, as long as they’re on leashes. So feel free to bring your leashed pets along!
4. I don’t know how to pose, do I need to come with poses prepared?
Not at all! I will have poses ready to go. I love to pose with motion to get laughter and emotions, but I will always ask if there’s a pose you wanted to do towards the end to make sure you didn’t miss out on something you had your heart set on.
5. Do I need to purchase any Digital Images?
You don’t have to purchase any of the Digital Images! They’ll be delivered in an Online Gallery where you can directly download them from! The Online Gallery also includes a Print Shop, but that’s entirely optional on if you want to purchase from me, or take them somewhere else to print. The lab I have selected is one I trust to deliver amazing quality, so I do recommend that over taking them to a retail store to print them.
