The Magic of Twin Willow Gardens

Jul 18, 2024

As I drove up to Twin Willow Gardens, I passed farm fields and even saw some very adorable cows. Little did I know what magic was in store. I was so focused on the helpful signs they had to tell you where to park, that I hadn’t realized when I entered into this amazing, new, world of its own. I felt like Alice stepping through the looking glass, to a place where anything was possible. While everything surrounding Twin Willow Gardens was beautiful fields of farm, the venue was a world of amazing green gardens and majestic, tall trees. A variety of flowers were everywhere, immediately doing justice to the “Gardens” part of their name.

Melissa greeted me and immediately made me feel welcome. She took the time to tell me amazing details and share her enthusiasm for the venue. The scenery and beauty only increased as we went along our tour. Melissa told me about how Brian uses his craftsman skills to add a beautiful touch to the venue. This included things like handcrafting the bar, adding to light fixtures, that as a photographer, I could not get enough of. He even added amazing touches to the arbors spread about the venue. The reception area under the tent caught my eye. It stood on artificial turf that added a quality of not only magic; but it brought together the feeling the rest of the venue offered in a seamless way.

Melissa then took me over to the ceremony area. If I was amazed before, the sight I saw was the absolute cherry on top. It was the most picturesque, heart of the Pacific Northwest area, surrounded by trees. She explained to me that it often fits the Twilight or Lord of the Rings theme. The ground was covered in wood chips that added an even more woodsy feel to it. They make it sure stays perfect for pictures because they thoughtfully replace them every single season. Melissa then brought more excitement with how the ceremony arbor has an outlet in it. You can even rent a beautiful glass chandelier from them to hang from the top during your ceremony. She then explained how the ceremony area was even wheelchair accessible! They happily move seats to make accommodations work, and make the entire process extremely simple.

The next area she took me through was the tiny houses they use for getting ready. They put so much thought into it with the details. This included hanging directions for tying bow ties and ties on the walls in the Groom’s getting ready house. The Bridal house had a room in it that had an amazing set of mirrors with lights lined on them to make you feel like a star when getting your makeup done.

For those concerned about rainy days, that’s not something you have to worry about at Twin Willow Gardens. Between the tree covered ceremony area, the 80 clear umbrellas they have on hand, the tents they have, and even the covered DJ area, nothing will put a damper on your wedding day here.

There was even more to the venue, including multiple fire pits laid about, and trails through the gardens made of grass. Past the parking area, which they have a Parking Attendant for, is a Willow Tree. It stands absolutely majestically, and is a popular place to take first look photos.

There is so much to Twin Willow Gardens, but what really makes the difference are the people who work here. Even as Melissa was talking and telling me all about the venue, I felt as though she had a unique ability to empathize with me without me needing to say any words. She made me feel at ease and immediately welcome. I even got to meet Rebecca at the end, and the welcoming vibe continued. I could feel such a warm-hearted radiance from her.

It was clear to see that they care deeply about making sure everyone has an amazing experience and does it with their own personal touches, whether it’s Brian to elevate the wedding décor of the venue with his amazing vision and crafting skills, Rebecca to welcome you with a warm smile and feeling of friendship, or Melissa to be an empathetic guide to help you through your wedding day. Twin Willow Gardens is magic in a venue.
