Starlight Meadows

When I first drove up to Starlight Meadows, the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to find because of all the signs leading the way. Immediately upon arriving at the venue, I noticed numerous spots to take pictures. First there was a spot for the most dreamy sunset pictures, another for family photos that would have a beautiful forest of trees in the background, and even the cutest little bridge on the grounds to add a twinkle of magic to your photos. The one I was most excited about was a spot that had a bench under the most gorgeous tree. Hanging from the trees were lights, which I could just picture creating the most romantic photographs once the sun had set enough (spoiler alert: I was right).

This didn’t even include everything. On the venue property, there was a private house for getting ready (and it’s also nice and cool for those toasty days). It included a private area for both the grooms and bridal party, and of course, a kitchen for snacking.

The area under the tent is what really ties the venue together. It’s an option for both the reception and ceremony if you choose, with lights shaped like stars hanging from the ceiling—which, as a photographer, are some of my favorite things to photograph people under. Being under that tent is like being in a different world entirely. Toasts that bring laughter and tears, first dances shared between loved ones, and hugs all around—all contained within that world. Just outside of the tent is a firepit for s’mores. Getting to sit around the firepit with some of your favorite people is one thing, but having that on your wedding day makes it that much more special.

But the thing I love most about this venue is the owners. Connie and Brick pour their hearts and souls into each couple. They bring a welcoming presence that truly makes Starlight Meadow feel like home. The way these two go above and beyond for their couples is exactly how I want my couples to experience their wedding days.
